Japanese actress and singer Noriko Sakai, known as Norippy in Japan, got arrested for drug use.


Noriko Sakai was a popular idol in her teenage and twenties. She was very popular among Japanese men and women for cute ideal wife and mother. Not only in Japan, but Noriko Sakai was very popular in China too. I think many Chinese are also shocked about this news. Noriko Sakai was an idol of purity and innocence. I think none of the fans doubted that she was doing drug, until she ran away.

Before drug was found in Noriko Sakai’s apartment, gossip reporter said that Noriko Sakai’s case may become a trigger of drug uses investigation on the whole Japanese world of entertainment. The gossip reporter said this BEFORE the policed announced Noriko Sakai as wanted. I think the gossip reporter knew that Noriko Sakai was doing drug.

I’m really sad to hear Noriko Sakai as a criminal, but you know, many of the TV talents got arrested by drug use, but some of them are still working in the world of entertainment. If Noriko Sakai didn’t run away and make this into a such a big issue, I think many of the fans would feel poor about her and kept supporting her, but now, I think there are no one left to support her.
