I’ve checked pictures of all nominees, and if I was the judge, I think I would choose her as a champion. Reason is, she looks less ambitious then other girls in winning in the contest. I thinks there are girls who are cuter than her like Mari Tamaki, but they look ambitious.
Mari TamakiI feel like I can read ambition in Mari Tamaki’s eyes under her perfect smile, which appeals minus on purity and innocence. Somehow our culture expect purity and innocence for Japanese female idol. I think that’s why Japanese female idols tend to be young and child looking, then sexy and glamorous American female idols.
