This is a prize given by International Flower Bulb Center (IFCB) every year to a woman who fits the image of Lily in the intention of improving the image of Lily wider in the society. It is the 8th time this year.

Who is Meisa Kuroki?
She is a Japanese actress, fashion model, and a singer. Her mother is Japanese, and her father is Japanese and American half, so she is quarter American. She débuted on a stage show, which is very rare for young Japanese actress. I thinks she is treasured as a good actress by her the part she gets. In many of her movies and drama, she tend to play an important and has mysterious atmosphere.

To a Japanese girls, I think she appeals manly. Here eyes has powers. To a Japanese girls eye, she doesn’t look so Japanese. For a foreigner, she is probably nothing but a Japanese girl. She looks too independent and strong for 20 years old Japanese girl. I don’t think she is much popular among Japanese girls. I think she is beautiful, but not as to admire or mimic in order to look like her.
